ABOUT
ABOUT ME
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist with a passion for helping women in their journeys of personal growth. While pursuing a career in acting, I was always deeply invested in my own therapy. Eventually, I became so excited about what I was learning about myself that I made the choice to close the book on one dream and open another by making therapy into my life's work. Helping women understand themselves better and grow into more of themselves has become a meaningful part of who I am. I am keenly aware of the courage it takes to show our soft underbellies and I do not take for granted the trust that is placed in me by my clients. I am so grateful I get to do this work every day.

MY APPROACH
Most therapists these days draw from many different theoretical frameworks rather than strictly practicing one rigid approach. Although my work is informed by CBT, mindfulness, somatic and attachment theories, postmodernism, and others, I work primarily from a psychodynamic perspective. In a nutshell, this means that I believe that our early life experiences affect how we think, feel, and behave. Our earliest interactions with the world are powerful forces in creating the beliefs we carry around about ourselves, other people, and life in general. These experiences also help us develop sophisticated ways to protect ourselves from pain, survive trauma, and function in the world. Later in life, we often find that these beliefs and protections don't serve us in forming healthy relationships or pursuing our life goals. In our work together we will honor your unique and complex life experiences while moving toward healthier and more sustainable ways of managing the challenges of life.
P R I C I N G
My fee is $175 for 45-50 minutes. I do not accept insurance, but I am happy to provide a super bill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your
medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have
insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for
medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of
any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a
Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you
can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith
Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate,
visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
